With the Dwarka Expressway now open, the corridor between Delhi and Gurugram has changed. We look at what it means for homebuyers and investors.
The Dwarka Expressway links Dwarka in Delhi with NH-48 near Kherki Daula, running through the new sectors of Gurugram. For years it was a corridor of promise; with the road now operational, it has become one of the region's most active residential markets.
Why it matters
Direct, signal-free access to Dwarka and the IGI Airport side of Delhi changes daily commutes for many families. The corridor also offers larger land parcels, which has encouraged integrated townships with generous open spaces.
- Faster access to the airport and West Delhi
- New sectors with planned social infrastructure
- A wide range of budgets, from mid-segment to luxury
What to check before you buy
Not every project on the corridor is equal. Look closely at the sector, the distance to the expressway itself, the status of approach roads, and the developer's construction progress.
As always, verify the HRERA registration and possession date, and ask for the latest construction update before committing. We can arrange site visits across multiple projects in a single day so you can compare them in person.
