DLF The Aralias: the first super-luxury address of DLF5 Golf Links
The Aralias was the first of DLF's super-luxury residences in DLF5 Golf Links, and it set the tone for everything that followed. It sits right opposite the golf course off Golf Course Road, and when it was completed in 2007 it changed what people expected a luxury apartment in Gurgaon to be.
It is a relatively small community: about 250 homes in three long, slim blocks that flank a landscaped garden, so that almost every home looks out over greenery and the golf course. Apartments range from roughly 465 to 836 sq m (about 5,000 to 9,000 sq ft), with the largest being penthouses. Hafeez Contractor designed it, and like the later DLF5 projects, the homes were handed over as bare shells for owners to finish to their own taste.
Today The Aralias is fully lived in, and buying here means buying a resale home. Many people like that: the gardens have matured, the community is settled and you can judge the exact home, its view and its condition before deciding. Because interiors were done individually, each home is quite different, so compare carefully.
